About PBC

Located in the Eatonville Community of north Hattiesburg, Providence Baptist is a church in a rural setting but with an urban feel. The church is approximately fifteen minutes from downtown Hattiesburg and is within easy reach of Oak Grove, Petal, Seminary, and several other growing communities. Five local schools, two colleges, and two junior colleges are represented within our student ministry.

Worship at Providence is truly a blend of styles, traditions, and tastes. From classic hymns of faith to gospel to contemporary Christian, all avenues of musical expression are a part of our services. The Bible is the foundation for belief and practice and is recognized as the inspired, innerent, infallible Word of God for all mankind . . . past, present, and future!
